Glenn Seaborg
Glenn Seaborg was an American chemist and was known for his discovery of new chemical elements. He was born in Ishpeming, Michigan and went to the University of California. He was chairman of the Atomic Energy Commission from 1961 to 1971 and then became professor at the University of California. He conducted research in nuclear chemistry and physics in connection with the atomic energy project.
