In 1799, domestic difficulties within France were attributed to the mismanagement of the Directory, Frances governmental body. …showed last 75 words of 1829 total…I believe that Napoleon failed at the third campaign because he did not pay enough attention to the basic human needs of his soldiers. Because the soldiers had to fend for their own survival, they were not physically and mentally capable of fighting off the Russians. In addition, I believe that if Napoleon would have paid attention to his soldiers needs, the common people would not have been exploited to the extent that they were.
